12:30 pm - the moon!

superdense
So there was a lunar eclipse the other night

and it made me think of lm.

Then the next night, the moon was huge and bright

and so I took more pictures

even though my camera is not much for nighttime photography.

4:28 pm - Posters!

kutekitty56
while cleaning my room i came across the note denise gave me with my graduation present. i noticed that it said we had to look through the ng maps at wheaton library next time we went, and get a moon map. i also remembered that while we do/have looked through the maps, we didnt find a moon map. however, i do remember finding several astronomy posters in the bin with the ng maps.

one of the maps is of the milky way, and on it there is a little pointer thing with the caption "WE ARE HERE," like one of those mall directories.

poor amy.

Yale Leslie: also, i am a big dork who emailed julia quinn informing her that her books are ruining my study habits, and asking if she would ever want to come do a master's tea
Denise: that would be amazing
Leslie: i agree
Leslie: : )
Leslie: not as amazing as if colin bridgerton did a master's tea
Leslie: but i suppose you can't have it all

I am going to begin posting my excellent collection of IM quotes I've been saving since the beginning of the summer to this journal. There will be a new one every day or so. We will start with one from tonight. I will replace screen names with real names to provide context.

Harry: whenever i get a message from you, i always think, "how lucky i am that i got a message from denise. you know, there are starving children in china who can't get messages from denise..."

Auto response from Denigodess: "Oh! it is absurd to have a hard and fast rule about what one should read and what one shouldn’t. More than half of modern culture depends on what one shouldn’t read."
-Oscar Wilde / The Importance of Being Earnest

moscowcalling: well i don't want to wake you up
